Data deletion
Last updated 1 October 2026
How to have Consolida delete the data it holds from social accounts you connect, such as a Facebook page or an Instagram account, and how long it takes.
What we hold
When you connect a social account to Consolida, we hold only what the desks need to draft and publish posts for you:
- the name and id of the page or profile you connected;
- the access token that lets us publish for you, which is stored in Google Secret Manager, not in our database;
- the posts the desks drafted, the posts you approved and published through Consolida, and when they went out;
- basic figures for those posts, such as reach and engagement, where the account provides them.
We publish to a connected account only after you approve the post. More detail is in our privacy policy.
How to ask for deletion
You can do either of these:
- Email us. Write to support@consolida.ai with "Data deletion" in the subject. Include the name of your business and the social account you connected, such as the page or account name.
- Disconnect the account. Disconnect the social account from inside Consolida. This stops our access and starts deletion of the data we hold from that account.
Never send us passwords. We will never ask for them.
How long it takes
We delete the data within 30 days of your request, and it is removed from backups within a further 30 days.
Confirmation
When the deletion is done, we confirm it by email.
